Car Care Caring for Power Steering

Car Care Caring for Power Steering

www.mobilku.org - Power Steering is a sisitem equipment used on the steering wheel control to lighten the load on this car, there are 3 types of power steering which is known to date are:
1. Hydraulic Power Steering, which uses hidroulis pump contains oil that serves more strength given the driver on the steering wheel is then channeled to the wheels,
how this system works when the steering shaft rotated to the left then the hydraulic pump will help push the wheel to the left and vice versa. And at high speed oil / hydraulic pump will maintain a more stable steering systems, hydraulic power steering is widely used in the Avanza and Xenia
2. Semi-Hydraulic Power Steering (plus electric motor), this type of power steering uses a hydraulic pump as the first type but equipped electric motor (electric dynamo) to create pressure on the hydraulic pump, the use of semi-hydraulic systems can be found in the Mercedes Benz A Class.
3. Electric Power Steering system or without hidroulik (oil) but only uses the electric motor (electric dynamo) on the steering gear, the type is known as the Electric Power Steering (EPS). The use of EPS is the most common for new cars, introduced since the 90's but newly popular in 2000 to above, some cars use EPS systems include Honda Jazz, Yaris, Mazda2, Suzuki Splash, Suzuki Karimun, and others.
Power Steering on the car need to be specially treated to remain durable or not easily damaged, driving habits that make Power Steering wear must be removed, some habits are:
* The position of the wheel is not straight when parking, wheel tilted position for too long will make the hydraulic pump pressure on one side for a long time, this condition causes damage to the hydraulic sisitem on cars that still use the power steering hydraulic or semi-hydraulic
* Frequently rotate the wheel to get stuck even to remove noise, if this is done repeatedly in rapid frequency (min 3-5) led to an increase in temperature of the hydraulic system and can tear the rubber on the hydraulic system.
* Pressure on the wheel the less wind (not standard), the lack of pressure on the wheel will cause friction between the tires and the road the greater the workload of the power steering also doubled, so that both the hydraulic power steering and electric will be easily damaged by these conditions
* Components feet less than optimal car for example on arm, ball joint, shock, bearings and so forth. The bad components on the car legs caused by a power steering wheel control becomes very difficult to

  1. The last line of defense between the skin components and also the inside your car\'s engine is that the air cleaner. This filter removes contaminants like soot, carbon, and different abrasives from the air before they will combine with the fuel within the combustion chamber.
